In keeping with true Impressionism, American artist S T Geoghan emphasizes light in each of her color rich paintings. Light in all of its radiant hues comes alive through her skillful hand and studied eye.

Rich, vibrant color is the hallmark of Geoghan’s style, as well it should be; She learned from some of the best. Working as an art restorer and fine art framer in New Hope, Pennsylvania -- hub of the Pennsylvania Impressionists, Geoghan was privileged to work on many of the finest pieces of that movement.

Her close examination of works by such luminaries as Baum, Coppedge, Folinsbee, Nunamaker and more, gave her inspiration and an intimate view of  technique, and a deep understanding of how to create with color.  Over time, she created a painting style and palette that draws from many diverse influences, that is her own unique approach.

Having exhibited throughout the Northeast for over a decade, this classically trained artist has received acclaim through numerous awards, critical reviews and public and private commissions. Though collected the world over, her work is very much a product of the Bucks County fields and small towns, near were she lives and paints today.
